Naoya Uchida


Naoya Uchida (内田 直哉 Uchida Naoya) lahir di Tokyo 1 Mei 1953, adalah seorang aktor, pengisi suara, dan sekaligus juga penyanyi asal Jepang. Dia telah banyak memainkan beberapa peran kecil di berbagai drama TV. Memulai debutnya pada tahun 1972 dengan NHK Maboroshi no Satsui (幻の殺意 Maboroshi no Satsui) dan terus bermain dalam teater dan drama TV sampai akhir 90-an. Sejak itu ia telah memfokuskan kembali karirnya pada pertunjukan vokal seperti opera dan dubbing/pengisi suara. Sebagai pengisi suara, ia banyak dikenal dengan peran-perannya dalam Anime, seperti ia mengisi suara di Serial Anime Death Note sebagai "Soichiro Yagami", dalam One Piece sebagai "Doc Q", dan di serial Anime Naruto Shippūden sebagai "Madara Uchiha".

KARIR

Pada tahun 1968, setelah lulus dari kursus latihan Gekidan Wakakusa (yaitu sebuah perusahaan teater Jepang. Nama resminya adalah Wakakusa Ltd, perusahaan itu memiliki sejarah perintis dalam hiburan klasik serta dubbing dalam animasi televisi/anime), Naoya Uchida menjadi aktor dan ia menjadi terkenal akan peran-peran pahlawannya di televisi dan di film. Selama karirnya dia telah menunjukkan kemampuan berperannya dalam sekitar 40 film dan 30 serial anime.

Tahun 1972 merupakan tahun debut Naoya Uchida sebagai aktor. Penampilan perdananya adalah sebagai pemain tamu dalam serial drama di NHK Maboroshi no Satsui. Selama beberapa tahun selanjutnya, Naoya menjadi pemain untuk berbagai peran-peran kecil dalam serial tokusatsu, drama dan film. Sepeti dalam serial Super Sentai Denshi Sentai Denziman ia sebagai "Tatsuya Midorikawa/Denzi Green", dalam Drama Taiga/Takeda Shingen sebagai "Sakuma Nobumori", dalam serial Moeyo Ken sebagai "Shuhaku Muguruma", dan dalam serial Kaze no Rondo sebagai "Shigeru Yazaki". Dia juga sering memainkan peran-peran kecil dalam serial teater musikal.

Sejak tahun 1996, Naoya mulai mengisi suara untuk serial anime. Pertama kali, dirinya dipercayakan mengisi suara tokoh peran utama yaitu sebagai "Mizushima" dalam anime spesial di Animasi klasik di Literatur Jepang, yaitu di Biruma no Tategoto. Selain itu, dia dikenal lewat suaranya sewaktu menjadi peran pengisi suara dalam berbagai serial anime dan OVA, seperti sebagai "Luak" dalam Black Lagoon, sebagai "Soichiro Yagami" dalam Death Note, sebagai "Golem" dalam Monster Rancher, sebagai "Doc Q" dalam One Piece, dan sebagai "John Smith" dalam My-HiME dan My-Otome. Dia juga menjadi pengisi suara dalam serial film-film Internasional di dalam versi bahasa Jepang.

Dia juga berteman dekat dengan Akira Kamiya, Ryusei Nakao dan beberapa artis Jepang lainnya yang dianggap merupakan lambang generasi 1970-an dan 1980-an.
